AEM won't relax on the subject of developing their Cold Air Intakes. They tune the length and diameter of each system to match the motor's resonant frequencies to flow extra air into the inlet valves. Furthermore, the filter is situated outside of the engine compartment, so it pulls in cooler, denser oxygen for exceptional combustion. Note: For new model year vehicles the AEM Cold Air Intake may still be in "pending" status for CARB exemption. The exemption process takes time, but your AEM Intake will be exempt before your first emissions test.
